Appointment of Captain Alan Douglas Wilson
as a
Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire

Citation
For two years this officer has been Technical Adjutant of the North Irish Horse. He has carried out his duties with exceptional skill and devotion to duty.
During the last campaign from 9 April till 1 May every single tank in the Regiment was still on the road up to the end. Much of the credit for this goes to CaptainWilson. He co-operated well with all those with whom he came in contact and his office was a model of smooth efficiency.
