Fellow Rovers,

A great month has passed, during which much progressive work has been done, especially in our help towards the furtherance of Italian Scouting in our area, which Skipper tells us in his note on Italian Scouting. Jock treats us to a pleasant little story behind which there lies a moral that we think could be more closely observed in this troubled world of ours.

"Anon" (who is this man?) tells us all about a fellow Rover, who in his Army time enjoys the rank of a Temporarily Paid, Local Acting Unpaid Lancs-Jack - it is quite a George Marocco Special.

The Crew grows from strength to strength. Our present membership is 29 with as yet untapped fields. Up-to-date, since we parted company from our old friends of A.M.8., we have had 20 Crew Meetings over a period of three and a half months which is excellent considering several weeks were spent forward when we were so scattered as to make a meeting impracticable.

On behalf of the Mustangs we would thank indeed, Sgt Tom Hamilton and friends who have all helped so much in the production of this and previous editions of our mag.

The Crew sends thanks too, to Mrs. Johnston who so kindly presented the material for our Flag. To Skipper's wife (Mrs. Ken Cheater) and friends, in whose capable hands the Flag took shape.

A further thanks to Mrs. Cheater and also Mr. & Mrs. Harvey who so kindly donated
